Chronicle of Spain’s Largest Tech Event — First Edition

When Sevilla TechPark becomes the tech innovation epicenter of southern Europe for two days, you show up. Not as a spectator — as an active participant.
On March 19–20, the first edition of CTx Tech Experience Hub 2026 took place at the Cartuja campus — the same site that hosted the 1992 World Expo and now houses Spain’s largest science and technology park. Over 15,000 attendees, 1,000 startups, 250 tech companies, 150+ international speakers, and 400 hours of content across 11 stages. An event born with the ambition to become a reference — and one that, having lived it from the inside, I can say delivered.
My participation spanned four sessions across both days, connected by a single thread: AI is not something you watch from the sidelines — it’s something you build with your hands.
Frontier Firm by Microsoft — The Main Stage

On Thursday, right after Paco Salcedo’s keynote (President of Microsoft Spain) on Responsible AI, I had the privilege of sharing the ADA Auditorium stage with David Hurtado, Innovation Lead at Microsoft Spain. This was a special moment for me. I’ve been following David for years, learning from his ability to ground innovation and make complex ideas accessible. Sharing a stage with him at an event of this scale is something I won’t forget.
The session explored the Frontier Firm concept: organizations that don’t just adopt new tools but reshape their structures, processes, and culture to operate at the edge of what’s possible. We discussed how Microsoft is supporting the most advanced companies in that leap toward business models genuinely transformed by AI — with real cases and without the hype.
Power Apps Bootcamp — Vibe Coding in Action

Friday morning kicked off at the Hackathon Arena with the first of two hands-on workshops from the VS Sistemas Bootcamp. The goal was clear: everyone in the room would leave with a working application built from scratch.
We used the new Power Apps Vibe experience — Microsoft’s AI-native platform that creates complete business applications from natural language descriptions. No code required. The AI generates the plan, data model, business logic, and interface. The result was a room full of people building real apps in minutes, including a Seville-themed Minesweeper that proved learning can be fun.
What I value most about Vibe Power Apps is how it shifts the conversation: it’s no longer about whether you can code, but whether you can explain what you need clearly. The prompt is the new code. And that opens the door to professionals who were previously excluded from application development — something that directly connects to the democratization philosophy Power Platform has been driving since its inception.
Copilot Studio Bootcamp — Your First Intelligent Agent
Right after, together with Sergio Rojas, we took the entire room from zero to a deployed, functional agent in Copilot Studio. The session was step-by-step: defining the agent’s purpose, adding knowledge, configuring instructions, connecting actions, and testing in real time.
What stays with me most is the moment each participant’s agent responds for the first time with real context. That’s where the magic happens: when you stop seeing AI as something abstract and start seeing what you can build with it yourself. Copilot Studio has lowered the entry barrier to the point where any professional with a clear problem can build an agent to help solve it. In the context of Microsoft’s business applications — including Dynamics 365 Business Central — this opens a range of possibilities we’re actively exploring at VS Sistemas: support agents, sales agents, lead qualification, financial management.
Frontier Firm — The Partner Perspective

The last session closed our CTx presence with the talk we were most eager to give. At the Public & Social Hub Auditorium, alongside José María Pedraza (CEO of VS Sistemas) and Eduardo Jiménez Barragán, we grounded the Frontier Firm concept from the perspective of the partner that implements it every day.
We introduced our Digital Colleagues — agents already working in real customer environments: Angus managing leads, opportunities, and the sales cycle conversationally; Sofia capturing and qualifying omnichannel leads ensuring response speed and data quality; and Casia & Clio converting support conversations into traceable cases from the first contact. All built on Copilot Studio, connected to Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics 365 Sales, running in production.
The core message: Human-Led, Agent-Operated. Humans set the strategic direction; agents execute the workflows. Every employee becomes an Agent Boss. You don’t replace people — you give them superpowers. That’s a Frontier Firm. And that’s what we’re building at VS Sistemas with our clients.
The CTx Experience
Beyond the sessions, CTx proved that Seville can host a world-class tech event. The Aurora intelligent matchmaking system — combining AI with a human team to design personalized meeting agendas — is an idea I hope gets replicated at more events. The venue quality, organization, and content diversity — from deeptech to agrotech, from fintech to applied AI — matched the project’s ambition.
It was the first edition. And it already feels like an established event.
Final Reflection
Four sessions in two days. From the main auditorium to the Hackathon Arena. From Microsoft’s strategic vision to hands-on-keyboard building apps and agents. And closing with the partner perspective that makes all of this real in the day-to-day of their clients.
I skipped Fallas for this. And it was worth every minute. 🔥

🟦 AI isn’t something you talk about. It’s something you build. And it’s built better when you do it with the right people, in the right place, at the right time.
